I am like you in that its the season for bearings. I totally rebuilt my baler two years ago. Replacing every bearing on it. The originals lasted through 25000 bales, with only two failing. I have only baled 4500 on these new bearings and have had four bad so far. You might tell this tip to your baler man, another custom guy told me about doing it. I have a laser thermometer. I stop several times a day and check all of the roll bearing on the baler. Does not take a minute. Just point and shoot. Saved me a few roll shafts and holders over the years.
