I have no experience with NH balers but a few thoughts. How many total bales on the machine? Are the belts worn smooth? I know Deere balers can have trouble starting bales when the diamond tread wears off. As belts get older they get shorter not longer as one might think. If they are to short it might cause starting troubles as the chamber is to far open? Troubles with hydraulic tension valve, to much to little? Does NH have starter rolls? May be worn? Don't know about NH but Deere has a knowledge base trouble shooting service for the techs. If your having troubles I'am sure someone else has had the same problem before.
