Thanks for helping us remember the ones who fell for our country. There are two young men on that list that I knew. One is a friend from church who taught me some tricks on trapping muskrats. It was hard for me to come to grips with the fact that this friend with whom I shared time with along a peaceful stream died in a war half way around the globe. The other was a couple of years ahead of me in our tiny school where everyone was like family.
Sometimes my dad starts reminicing about the friends he lost in WW2. Will the new generation being born today be reminded of the sacrifices these young men made so many years ago?Jim
