Post below about refrigerator: Compressor was very warm. (HOT!) Put an 8" fan on it for an hour or so, cooled it down, and when I plugged refrigerator back in, it buzzed once, then took off and ran, apparently all night. Compressor is quite warm, coils on back of machine, warm but not hot - normal. Left the fan on the compressor running. Apparently the over-temp cutout switch in the start circuit is the culprit. Will leave fan running on compressor until this heat-wave breaks, see what happens. Is that cutout switch internal to compressor motor, or external? In other words, can I replace it out, or am I in for a new refrig?
