UffDa!
I feel like I've been pulled thru a knothole backwards. Finally started raking/baling Monday night at dusk; ran non-stop until 7pm on Tuesday :>(
Don't think I'll put 110 acres on the ground again all at once; especially with my old junk hay equipment. Between breakdowns and running for parts, seems like I can't make any headway.
And then, at about 100 bales in, my 855 baler decides to shuck a lift cylinder and the fastest way to get the hay up was to hook on to this little 849 baler that I haven't used in years.
It only makes a 5X5 bale, but the little guy hung right in there and had 197 bales on the clock when I got rained out last night. Got 'er all put up except for about 12-15 acres.
Oh well, only 'bout another 100 acres to cut, rake and bale and I'm done for this year. You can bet I'm gonna rebuild that lift cylinder on the 855 first tho........
