I am from Upstate, NY...was stationed in Yuma...apples to oranges! 120 degrees there is not nearly as bothersome as 65 degrees here due to humidity...approacged high 90s here last couple days. The other difference is that you folks are used to heat as you get it on a consistent basis...we don"t! My body was used to the heat there and at night 55 degrees I was wearing longjohns, or we would hop over the Mts to San Diego and find it chilly on the beach @ 70 degrees...here in the NE 55 at night is tee shirt and shorts comfy and 70 is a good warm day.
