Oy, I donno about a steel tank for a sprayer with Roundup. That might not be a good idea? Roundup eats metal pretty badly. That's why metal sprayers went out in the 1990's.
I think you might get some problems. Any chance you can put a plastic drum on it for your use?
Roundup is real good at washing out the previous chemicals - you might want to be more careful about rinsing it out before your use! If you leave the roundup sit in it for a day or 2, it will really soak out the old chemicals that are in the hoses.
For rinsing, triple rinse, use amonia or the crystals that come from the farm supply store for nuetralizing spray tanks. Either work. If you left stuff in the sprayer for a longer time, then leave the amonia or cleanser sit in the sprayer overnite as well.
