Got an 88 oliver with band brakes. Removed and reinstalled bands. Question is the brake band has two stop pieces welded on the band that should fit into two notches in the transmission housing.Does anyone know if it is a tight fit(for example should the brake band have any forward/rearward movement due to worn stops on the band itself)I have aprox 1/4 play which shows up when you move the brake pedal? I have the full wrap style bands.
