wiggle the following fuses to see if the contacts are loose, IPCDC or SEO B1, IGN E or SEO IGN. You have two fuses, but I listed four because of the various options. Does the Heating and Air conditioning controls work when the problem happens? If the HVAC works the ground is most likely okay. Also wiggle the wires leading up to the instrument cluster. I checked and could not find any specific problem like yours.
