We're 3 weeks late in getting the coastal hay field cut due to weather. James took a day off yesterday and cut it. Temp with heat index was 106 and high humidity.
Hay was thick and tall. Had some clumping issues and part of the 801 hitch snapped off. Go figure.
Hay is so thick it really needs the tedder, but the tedder has been in the shop for months. Shop finally got the right part in Tuesday and it just might be ready Saturday.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
