Yes, in my opinion size/weight does make a difference. I bought a new machine years ago and it literally shook itself apart when I got into the thicker brush. I salvaged the gearbox, tailwheel, etc. and built my own. The gearbox was like a 35-40 HP rating and has itself self distructed w/o damage to my 4610 Ford. Gearbox is a lot cheaper and easier to replace/repair than the PTO guts of my tractor.
To paraphrase someone else on here occasionally: "Your acreage may vary" lol!!

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
