It was said that the Reverend Billy Grahm would NEVER visit a woman alone in his private life or in his line of work. He would bring his wife or another pastor or friend along. Always thought it was a good example for the rest of us. My neice lives and works in a bigger town 30 miles away so nobody local knows her. Her boss lives in one of our little towns of 100 people. She's the bookkeeper/secretary and she and her boss made arrangements for her to clean up his desk top computer and work on some programs at his house while he and his family was out of town. Made sense as she wouldn't be busy at work while he was gone. Didn't take long and the tongues were wagging all over town about this young good looking gal spending time at his house and who is she and does his wife know and are they having marital problems and is she having an affair with him and on and on. Keep in mind he's an upright citizen of the community and not a sleeze ball that would do such a thing and more importantly, HE WASN'T EVEN HOME. Yet the gossip went all over town and countryside immediately. All it takes is one nosey neighbor with a mouth to start all kinds of rumors and get peoples imaginations working. Be careful.
