Well first off say it is a 1949 says it is a front mount 4 speed 8N to me is that correct??? Is it 6 or 12 volts?? You can never give to much info but you can give to little for use to help you help your self. Now this may sound funny but you may have a weal spark. The spark needs to be a blue/white and jump a 1/4 inch gap or more. If it is not all of those then you have found your problem area. Also you say you fuel flow is good where did you check that at?? Pull the drain plug from the bottom of the carb and let it flow for at least 5 minutes and catch it. Look at it for dirt/rust/water. It should flow like your going pe all that time
