Have the same on my MF 180. Most all PTO driven impliments you would use would use the engine driven PTO setting, allowing various engine speeds, and ground speeds controled by gear selection.
You would use ground drive PTO on impliments that are used for things where ground travel is needed. This might be things like planters where distance between hills is important - pumpkins, trees, etc. Or PTO driven hay rakes.
