I would Never want an ORC on my Bush Hog..if I MUST make an emergency stop, I can bring it to a stop and be sliding the rear wheels with my JD "B".. and that is a 6' Hog...
At NO time do I want to be in a situation where someone walks up to my equipment and I have to sit there, looking stupid..while we both wait 2 minutes for the Bush Hog to stop.. If the equipment is not properly prepared, an ORC will not be a good answer. Maybe you are referring to an "8N" or something light..?? I am not familiar with any newer "feather-weight" tractors..maybe than ORC is the only way they can safely be operated..?? All I have to say is that would be a very Sad state of affairs... All you need are very Good brakes and an attentive operator..
