True story.
Decades back when I lived in Illinois, I always turned on the TV as back ground noise while I shave then shower. Remember back in the '80's when Oprah came out and said her father or uncle or someone molested her, then told all kids that if their parents so much as raise their voices at them, to call 911? Remember that? If your parents scold you, dial 911. Next thing cops come over, followed by DCFS, and a life of misery follows.
By the way, I never had any children.
So one morning I get up, turn on the TV, then go brush the teeth, shave, and get ready to shower for work. As it turns out, an Oprah replay is on from the day before and she's doing her show from Detroit, and the topic is out of control kids. So first she's got on an eleven year-old girl that is trouble day in and day out, and Oprah says so. The girl says she's not trouble, so Oprah asks "Didn't you tell me that you just stabbed another girl at school", and the girl responds "Yes, but I never got caught". Then get this, some lady is on with her little kid, like under ten years old as I recall, and the mother is crying that he's not such a bad kid, other than he and his buddies stabbed a sleeping homeless guy like 24 times because he was there. So those are the kinds of people that Oprah had on that day, and I have to admit that hearing it as I was shaving got my attention, so I put down my razor and walked into the living room and started watching. Then it happened. Oprah turns to the TV and asks, "So why are our children out of control America", to which I screamed because you told kids to dial 911 if their parents so much as look at them wrong, and I KICKED THE TV SO HARD WITH MY BARE FOOT AND BROKE IT that I ended up waking up on the floor after I got zapped but good.
Tell you what, after that whenever I turned on the new TV that I bought, as soon as I turned it on, my dogs ears and tails went down, and they ran out the doggie door and hid behind the tool shed.
So you have out of control kids, eh? Get rid of the TVs before you hurt and electrocute yourself.

Today's Featured Article - Hydraulics - Cylinder Anatomy - by Curtis von Fange. Let’s make one more addition to our series on hydraulics. I’ve noticed a few questions in the comment section that could pertain to hydraulic cylinders so I thought we could take a short look at this real workhorse of the circuit. Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
