If this was repaired under warranty then it might still be covered. It could be a problem that is what John Deere calls a "fix as fail" warranty. This is for a problem that has shown up but not on enough tractors to warrant a total recall. Since you bought it new go back to the dealer and ask the service manager about it. Don"t asked the salesman that sold you the tractor he will know squat about what is really covered under warranty. John Deere also has a program called a service allowance that is for problems kind of like this. It pays as follows: John Deere 1/3, The dealer 1/3 and the customer 1/3.
