Is this on a 12' wagon? I have midwest hoists on two 10' wagons and two 12 footers, and I'm thinking the 12 footers have longer cylinders in the hoist. Here in northwest Iowa Midwest hoists used to be all over the place so I'm sure there are a lot of them laying around. Today farmers are buying the barge wagons removing the box and hoist and using the running gear for a header trailer. A machinery jockey or consignment auction might be a place to look if you don't need a fix right away.
Is the rod bent? If it isn't bent too bad you can straighten it reasonably well and it'll still work. It's a single acting cylinder so you don't have to worry about messing up a rod seal. If the weld blew out at the base of the cylinder you can re weld it. Jim
