Looks like you are going to have a return to Summer. According to the internet weather, low 90's are forecast for the next few days there. We here in SC have been having upper 90's with high humidity and some storms. At my place, we are needing rain. It is thundering as I type.
If I may change the subject, the question was asked on the thread about SC corn harvest about maturity dates for corn. As I understand it, one theory is to plant early maturing corn early in hopes it will make before the Summer dry spell, which is what I do with sweet corn in the garden. If full season corn is planted along with some early maturing the harvest can be spread out. Full season corn can hang on and wait for a rain better than early maturing corn. That is about all I know, Don't grow corn myself.
