I just returned from an 8 National Park, 8,000 mile RV Road Trip out west and indeed crossed Kansas on I 70 for about the tenth time AND THATS THE LONGEST MOST BORING DRIVE IN THE USA LOL
I SAY GO FOR THE ALTERNATE ROUTE AND THE NEXT TIME IM GONNA TRY THE SAME as I prefer old time small town USA. I do the same nowadays that were retired and in no hurry, the scenery and flavor of the old original highways envokes childhood memories of family vacations when 5 or 6 packed in the family sedan with no air conditioning and kept watched for mom n pop motels that advertised AIR CONDITIIONED ROOMS AND SWIMMING POOLS WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO
