so i have this 20 year old lawn boy 2 cycle self propelled mower. dang nice little walk behind, i can pick it up easy and toss it in the back of the truck, all i ever put in it was an ignition module and a couple blades, couple spark plugs in 20 years. the wife had to have an electric start personal pace walk behind for trimming. too heavy and hard to maneuver. all my small gas cans if premix are written 20-1,32-1, 40-1 premix in big letters. get home , my trimming mower is parked under a tree in the yard. wife says....it was banging when i was cutting. i pulled the spark plug and tried to turn the blade. kinda sounded like stepping on corn flakes. asked.....did you put premix in the mower like it says on the gas cap???? i used that can she says.......pointing to one that just says GASOLINE. i inform her that the motor on MY mower is toast. asked why she put straight gas in the lawn boy??? well, it didnt say it wasnt pre mix on the can...i'm still trying to figure out what that means.....grrrrrrrrrrr.
