I have recentley picked up a Owatonna 1000 skid steer. I was told that it ran fine 5 years ago when "No I didnt pay muc at all for it" I know very little about it. I am unable to find any real info on it. like year or anything. I can not even find a pic that is even close to it. After a little work It turns over very stong, Has good compression. But to my point. here is my problem. at some point the engion was converted from points to use a coil I have no spark at all. I tried a new Coil. "the oil that is inside it was oozing out. and that did Nada. the way it was wired was From the Key to the - on the coil and from the + on the coil to a bolt on the Distributer. This is about all I know about it. if anyone has any sugestions or what I should try and do let me know.
