Hey Dave, I went through your part of the world yesterday. Flew into Liepzig from Iraq to get fuel and a crew change. Of course I like to look out at the world I'm flying over and I have a question about the farms in Germany. It looks like they are harvesting wheat or some similar grain there, but I also noticed that in the fields that haven't been harvested, there are tire tracks where the crop has been run over that appear to be about 60 feet apart. Is this from running sprayers or something? Seems like every field was like that. I don't think I've ever seen that here in the US. I also noticed that there are very few rectangular fields there, at least around Leipzig. It appears to be rather flat so that seemed strange that the field were so random.
