I had New Hampshires and some homegrowns from the NH and a big white rooster. Everything I had started laying right at the 20 week mark.
I fed wheat and oyster shells and put a dissolvable multivitamin (for people) in the water once a week. Got better (bigger and darker) eggs than with store bought feed. If you don't have greens in winter, a handful of rabbit pellets a few times a week is nice.
