In terms of breakout force, lifting capacity, bucket capacity, etc, etc it would replace a skidsteer with equal, or less, breakout force and capacities. Even then it is only replacing the skidsteer to the extent that it has equal, or greater, capabilities in those areas.
Beyond that I don"t think there is another machine built that, in a head to head comparison of similar sized machines, will replace a skid steer in regard to it"s operational speed and versitility.
