Fill the filter with fuel before replacing. Keep the fuel clean- I fill with a large syringe. Went to the glass ones on the 3020/4020 over 30 years ago- same ones now on the 30-40-50- Series JD, Gleaner combines. Switch when the engine is warm- haven"t had to hand prime for ages.
