a couple yrs ago my wife was driving to work on a mainly empty road, she was overtaken by a semi with an big old wooden flat roofed shack swaying too and fro on the highboy behind him, seconds later a second semi pulled up behind her, wanting to pass her too.
at that moment the shacks roof on the truck in front of her became air born and landed right in front of her, there was no way around it as the ditch was very steep and the second semi(loaded with a similair shack) was now beside her.So she held on for dear life and pounded over that shattered roof.
She managed to stay on track when she ran over it but was severely shaken up when she stopped, the car had only one flat and the exhaust was ripped off Neither of these trucks stopped and kept on going.
The funny thing was that calling 911 twice did not result in ANY action by the cops other than a call if she was OK. We never heard a thing about it again.
