Went for a look around this http://www.nsauction.com/auctions/08_2010/0828_johnson.html auction this morning. It was a hoarders paradise. I don't know what he ever planned to do with it all but he had a huge collection of implements, about a dozen or so tractors and numerous old motorcycles and ATVs as well as a few trailers full of assorted "shop junk". We didn't stick around to see what the tractors and implements went for but I snapped a few pictures.
Two items interested me and I'm wondering if anyone here knows about them. One of which was a rather cumbersome looking loader arrangement with cables and some simple hydraulics run off a small pump on the PTO. At first I thought it was home made but then I found another tractor with one that was very similar. Here's pictures of both.
Then there was this other neat little guy, no identifying marks that I could find other than a plate on the engine which identified it as a Continental.
And here's a shot down a row of tractors, I heard some of 'em running when I got there but didn't see which ones.

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
