I had on old International Metro potato chip truck I built into a camper.back in the early 70's
I pulled into a KOA near Erie Pa Went into Office and they gave me a map and a lot Number.
When I found it I was in between a real nice very new at the time Winnebago and a sleek looking I didn't know what til the guy told me he was retired airline pilot and he built his from ground up from an old airplane. looked as good as the factory one.
I kind of felt embarrassed about mine, I even said I'd move if they felt I should. They ask me why would I want to move? I said I made their rigs look bad. they said mine was for the same purpose theirs were and campers are just campers. its the people that like to camp they were interested in.
So if ya just got a tent , or a big Diesel pusher The kind of people ya meet is the important part.
