B-275 manual steering box is one of the few weak points on the tractor. There are plenty of brand new boxes around at not too bad a price. I bought two recently. Seems Mahindra still makes them, thus the reason why they are available new. I paid $179 for the first new one. I can't recall what the second cost, but I know the price had gone up.
I can't recall the name of the place off hand tha sells them , but the place is down south and they aderstise all the time on Ebay. Just do a search for "B275." I also bought several new OEM steering wheels from the same place.
Note also that many have put power steering on B-275s. I have one with it. I bought the entire setup for $50 on Ebay, which is one of those rare good deals. Most on Ebay is a rip-off.
