My wife and I were sued when we were just kids over some mess with some property that we bought. Seems that one neighbor thought he was entitled to part of the land.
We hired the best lawyer we could find and paid them every spare cent we could scrounge over a two year period.
The lawyer got it all dismissed, never saw the inside of a courtroom.
Moral of the story is, get the best lawyer you can find and try not to worry about it. I am sorry that this is happening to you, it just does not seem right.
