Most control valves have an inlet , which usually has a relief valve nearby on the inlet section of the valve..On the oposite side of the valve the return line usually attaches..Then off the top or bottom of the valve are 4 lines in your case that supply oil to the different functions of the valve..Those 4 lines control lift and lower of boom and roll back and dump of bucket..Look at the way the lines are plumbed..Are the lines for the boom lift in row with the valve spool, and the same with the bucket spool..One line lifts and the other lowers on the boom valve spool..If they're crossed it just won't work..One cylinder will work against the other..
