My vote for Mesa Verde Natl Park. Lots of old Anasazi ruins. Very interesting if you are into ancient native culture. It's in extreme SW Colorado, extending a bit into NM. Two other places near the north rim of Grand Canyon are "the wave" and Buckskin Gulch, if you like hiking and like unusual rock formations.
