You have some great country to look forward to. I have been fotunate to visit/spent time in every place mentioned below. If your are anchoring the travel between Grand Junction and Flagstaff then you will find that Lake Powell will decide which way you go -east or west. Each way is a great trip and will hit some of the things mentioned here. My choice would be north from Flagstaff to Mexican hat then on to Mesa Verde, Durango then north hitting all the sights on to DeltaReds place. If you end as far as Grand Junction then the big thing would be the loop from Fruita thru the Colorado Natl Monument ending up outside of Grand Junction. When I had the motorcycle in Fruita i made that loop both ways everyday. Hard to get tired of all the scenery in that part of Colorado. To add the farm link beware its open range and animals like to sleep on the warm road, blew past a couple cows at 110mph making a stupid run for GJT after a day on Lake Powell, never again. Have a great trip.
