if there is no way to pay for the car or catch up on the payments, she will be better off just volentarily turning the car in, and not involving a repo man, repo men are usualy not nice people and out here they tend to get shot and shot at more often than not, but the law is still on their side , if the car has a lein on it it is not hers, it belongs to the lein holder untill its paid for in full, its not really right but its the law, she will have easier time getting a replacement car if she just talks to the leinholder and explains the situation calmly and if nessessary turn the car over
