It all depends on how you count it. Total number of tractors? Dollar value? How big/small are you counting-- lawn tractors?
Mahindra sells over 10,000 tractors a month worldwide. Only a small number of those are in the USA, but that doesn't make them a small company. India is a massive market, and they are undergoing a revolution in mechanization of farming.
The reason Deere, AGCO, etc. have been building and buying factories in India has very little to do with exporting cheap compact utility models back the the USA. It is all about building and selling within India.
US population = 300 million. India population = 1.1 billion.
