Dale, I am guessing that your tractor being a 1931 model is an F-30. It has a first gear speed of 2 mph, Not fast but probably one of the green machines will idle slower and have a lower first gear. I won a contest with a JD-40T, in first gear you could get off the tractor, go for a frosty mug and be back in time to see the 40 pass the finish line (50'). Advise: take the tractor unless you have more than one and have fun. Dan Johnson achines will idle so slow and have a lower gear
