Over the last 30 years I've built a lot of what most people would call toys. Quite a few transplant engine tractors among them. Some useable,a couple just for pulling,a half dozen just for fun. I always look for transplants with great interest and was wondering how many folks here have the same interest. I have a 3000 ford and a 302 engine that I've been working on. Have the bellhousing adapter almost finished, working on the clutch now that hays up. Would like to hear about others, finished or not.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
