Used to be 20-30 yrs ago, highway diesels were about worn out at those miles. Now highway diesels with all the complex emissions equipment, filtration, urea injection, 20,000psi injectors/pumps. It's going to get real expensive to limp them to 300,000 miles. Without having the check engine light on.
