Can someone tell me in 1st grade terms how to
1. join lengths of gutters
2. solder on end caps, joints, etc
Just replaced a couple rusted out gutters and used clamps that you butt the ends together and clamp them (clamp has a rubber gasket). End caps kinda bumped on with a hammer but should be soldered I guess.
Like to be able to slide the gutter together but after staring at it like a monkey studying a math problem, can't visualize where to make the cut.
Is it as simple as melting lead into the seams/cornersor is it something a little trickier? Would something like JB weld be the best way to go?
