Replacing clutch in David Brown 990

My father owns a 990 David Brown that needs to have the clutch replaced. He's looking for information about how to do this job and asked me to search the net for information or step-by-step instructions. Does anyone have suggestions about how to get the information he needs without his having to buy a complete service manual? And if we do need to get the complete manual, what do you suggest as the best one for the money? Would sure appreciate any help. He uses the tractor to pull his hay baler, so he'll need to get the clutch fixed by early summer. He's 77 years old and farms and ranches with my brother in southeastern Colorado.
