So I do live within the city limits of our little town and have been here for 6 years now, never having any mice issues, even though we live 3 city blocks from a 80 acre field and the elevator. Then within a period of a month, we have had 4 in our garage, and I caught two trying to get into the house, and the cat brings me two prizes for a pat on the head.
I can"t figure out where they are coming from until last night. I ask my neighbor who has let their yard go since they got season tickets to the local minor league baseball club. So mowing only happens once every two weeks and no clean up in the yard.
He tells me they have had mice problems for the last 4 years. They get into all their bird seed and squirrel corn they keep in their little plastic out building in their fenced in yard. Me being the nice neighbor asks if I can come help clean up their mess because I don"t want the mice in my yard, house, or garage. I had to say something nice or else they would have heard how P-O"d I really am that they willing allow this to happen.
So what is the best bait you all have experienced to take care of the issue? I know the first thing is to take care of the food source then replace it with the bait. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
