jdemaris, your tips, advice and knowledge of the Roosa Master IP"s has been very much appreciated by many of us who frequent the YT forum. Thank you for willingly sharing it with us. I have a question concerning a DBVCC pump on a Ford 601 Workmaster that actually may not be an issue since I haven"t re-installed it yet but after tearing it down and completely resealing it, I installed the drive-shaft complete with new seals but have noticed that the shaft appears to be off center where it exits the housing. Obviously the shaft is not designed to be a machine fit within the sleeve but instead fits somewhat loosely. To your knowledge, does it matter if the shaft is kicked over to one side like this? I was wondering if it basically "floats" in the lower part of the housing perhaps attributed to governor response during operation? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
