Spent 23 years pulling cars over, so I'll tell a couple odd stories.
Going down the road one night and I see something odd- a bright whitish/orange glow coming from under a car. Do my best "TJ Hooker" Trooper turn and chase the car down. The witch behind the wheel is screaming at me from the second I get within ear shot about how I had no cause to pull her over and how she's sick of "you pigs" harassing her. Right about then I reached in and opened the door an pulled her out as the flames started shooting out from under her car. Put the fire out too in a minute. Catalytic converter was blocked or something and set the car on fire!
'Nuther time I'm riding along in the middle of nowhere and round a corner to find a car on fire and this guy outside screaming "MY BABY! MY BABY!!!" Well, I about krapped myself and grabbed the fire extinguisher and got nicely singed trying to get into this car and save a baby. Finally I realize the guy is telling me it's not a real baby, the CAR is his BABY!!!
Another time after waiting weeks we find this local drug dealer with a bad tail light. Pull him over and his smokin' hot girlfriend says to me, "Yeah, you guys are real cute doing this." In my one of moment quick thinking I replied, Ma'am, the fact you find us physically attractive is unimportant, please get the registration." Man, she was Pee Owed!!!!
