Well harvest season is slowly winding down, most of the hard work is done, except for repairs, and those in the livestock / dairy Industry.
Yes our Soldiers do now get recognition and well deserved, but without you they wouldn't eat.
Some of you will keep trudging through many obstacles, and some only you, and God alone can handle.
You have a chosen job that you have to love or you couldn't make a living at it. This is because of the ever changing rules,regulations, and marketing.
Fuel, and the machinery needed today to do the work Is an expense most couldn't Fathom, but you somehow survive, and feed the world at the same time. It takes a brave person to start a new season each year. believing in Himself to tackle it with aggression. not knowing for sure it will be a profitable one. ( I know most places this year started out too wet)
Younger Generation is pulling away from the lifestyle and going to other possibilities threatening our only food source.

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
