Do you offer lessons on "tolerance of husband's hobby" to other wives? I'll bet you could make a fair living in that occupation. Or maybe you could make a fabulose(sp?) living with a new Opra type show dealing with such an important topic. Or maybe better yet to get a gig like Dr Phil has where you could show up for guest appearances like on Opra's show, and not have to be tied to some everyday schedule, but still collect the bucks and be recognized as "The Expert".
Even though my wife of 40+ years has had to learn a lot of tolerance, she has not yet come to appreciate the finer points of tractor collecting. Our (wife and I) relationship is a bit more like Roger Welch described in one of his books. "Don't ever line them up in a straight row, it makes it too easy for her to count them" and "need" new carpet or drapes or 2 sofas or some other worthless expensive stuff like we got for wedding presents 40 years ago.
Oh I think I am going to be in a mess of difficulty now, probably 2 weeks in the dog house with only dry food out of the cheap bag once a day. And the short leash!
