Finished cutting the soy beans Saturday. The field in the pictures is 50 acres. It made 35 bu acre which is pretty good for double crop here in Kansas. Some of the other wasn"t quite as good. This ground caught a couple of rains the other ground didn"t. Pretty happy for the turnout as well as price. Drilled about 50 acres of it into wheat. Sunday put the combine and drills up, and should be pretty much done until spring. Turned out to be a pretty good year, except I sold my wheat the the rock bottom. Can"t win them all I guess. LOL! There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
