I don't know what you're putting the motor into, or what it was removed from, but make sure the crank is machined for a pilot bushing/bearing if your application needs one.
A friend took one into a shop and put close to 1500 bucks into it.. was gonna drop it into a Massey 30 (IIRC) and couldn't get it to go tight to the bellhousing.. slid the engine away and it had no machining in the crank for a pilot bushing..
Needless to say, that engine still sits on a pallet with NO HOURS on it in their barn, nearly 10 years later.
