Looking for a new set of 13.6 x 36" rear tires for our Ford 4630 tractor. The front (MFWD) tires are Goodyear long bar/Short bar design and we want the rear tires to match.
From everything I have seen, not many tire companies are making Long bar/Short bar tires any more. Is there a reason for this? I think they ride smoother on a hard surface or gravel. We don't do much heavy drawbar pull with the tractor so if they don't pull quite as well it won't be a big deal.
I guess goodyear is no longer making tractor tires, they have sold out to Titan. Even in the Titan catalog we havn't found any 36" tires.
Any idea of a good tire manufacturer for Long Bar/Short bar?
In case any of you ask why we have 36" tires on it, it originally had 16.9x30's on it and since we are using it for row crops, 13.6x36's have the same rolling circumference.

In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
