I will attempt a little assistance- it's been several decades! I was never involved in initial assembly so I don't know about bleeding. I did service a couple of Oliver plows with the same accumulator. With the system hooked to the tractor, if I remember correctly, you move the lever to send oil into the system, watching the gauge carefully, it will rise quickly, then hesitate briefly, before continuing it's rise. That point tells you how much nitrogen pressure is in the tank. You can repeat that process as many times as necessary to get the reading. I don't remember how far beyond gas pressure you set the hydraulic pressure. Seems like there was a little wiggle room, but basically the gas pressure is the key to the system. The system is self operating- totally unhooked from the tractor during operation. Of course with the proper equipment you can read the gas pressure at the schrader valve. Here you can take the accumulator to a welding supply place and they will charge it with nitrogen. There are more and more accumulators being used today so possibly dealers are charging them also. Hopefully someone with much more thorough and recent experience will respond. Best of luck.
